      Marriage of Lord Archibald Campbell
      (From our Special Correspondent)

Yesterday morning, the marriage of Lord Archd. Campbell, second son of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll, and Miss Jane Callander, youngest daughter of the late Mr James Callander of Craigforth, Stirlingshire, and ward of the Duke of Argyll, was celebrated at St George's Church, Notting Hill. The bridal party met at the Church at twenty minutes to twelve o'clock; and on the arrival of the bride she was received by the following bridesmaids, namely - Miss Fanny Callander, sister of the bride, the Ladies Elizabeth, Eveline Frances, and Mary Campbell, Miss Mary Sartoris, Miss Violet Campbell, and Miss Mabel Baring. The noble bridegroom was accompanied by the Marquis of Lorne as groomsman. The bride, who was given away by her guardian, wore a white satin dress trimmed with orange blossoms, a wreath of the same flowers, and a veil of Brussels lace. She wore also a necklace of pearls, a present from the Countess Percy. The bridesmaids were uniformly attired in mauve dresses trimmed with swan's down, and bonnets to match. Among the relatives and friends present were - the Duchess of Argyll, the Earl and Countess Percy, Lords Walter and Colin Campbell, Lord Erskine and Miss Shaw, Lord C. Howard, Col. and Mrs Baring, Mr Campbell of Islay and Miss Campbell, Mr and Miss Sartoris, Mr Callander, Mr C. Sartoris, &c. After the ceremony the newly-wedded couple and bridal party proceeded to Argyll House, Camden Hill, Kensington, when the Duke and Duchess of Argyll entertained them at breakfast. At two o'clock Lord and Lady Archibald Campbell left Camden Hill for Trentham, the Duke of Sutherland's seat in Staffordshire, to pass the honeymoon. The bride's presents were numerous, and included valuable presents from the Dowager-Duchessof Argyll, the Duchess of Argyll, the Marquis of Lorne, Lady Trentham, &c. [3]
