Obituary - Ralph McCurry Jr.
Ralph B. McCurry Jr., 20, 2325 S. 18th St., died Sunday at a local hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The accident occurred 11 weeks ago on Highway 59, five miles south of Mound City, Mo.
Mr. McCurry was a native of Kansas City, Mo., and lived in Mound City most of his life. He was a heavy equipment operator for Tobin Construction Co., and had moved to St Joseph six months ago.
He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 101 in Kansas City, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Renee McCurry of the home; and one daughter Chamie McCurry of the home; his father, Ralph McCurry Sr.; three sisters, Bobbie Brown, Patty McCurry and Melissa McCurry; and one stepsister Jolee McCurry, all of Mound City.
Services will be this afternoon at 2 at Crawford funeral home in Mound City. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City. [1]
