Campbell and his wife, Carrie Dale Stone Campbell, appeared occasionally on their son's network television program in the late 1960s. [6]

Funeral services were scheduled at the Delight Church of Christ, with burial at 3:30 p.m. at Delight Cemetery, a spokeswoman for Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, Ark., said Monday. The funeral home said Campbell had been ill for some time, but the nature of the illness was not known. He died at 9:05 a.m. Monday in the home Glen built for him at Billstown, in rural Pike. [8]
